Case description

Indication for colonoscopy: two large splenic flexure polyps. Elective colonoscopy was performed. One small pedunculated polyp (head diameter 10-12 mm) and one large two-headed polyp with a wide, demanding peduncle. After clips placement and adrenaline injection into both heads, polypectomy was performed. Wound was coagulated in order to increase the chances of total resection, hemostasis was obtained. Biopsy was taken. The results of biopsy (30.10.2017) - tubular adenoma with low-grade dysplasia and focal high-grade dysplasia. The polyps were resected with negative margin.
