Case description

Similar lesions were detected in several prior colonoscopy examinations. There was no clear histopathological conclusion. I encourage all the endoscopists to give a guide how to interpret the following images.
Colonoscopy (10.08.2020) - "A small area of white submucosal elevations in the splenic flexure. The image is nonrepresentative, difficult to interpret. In my opinion it can be associated with the agent used to clean the colon or the agent used to disinfect the endoscope (I have started to see similar lesions in other patients since the disinfectant replacement - peracetic acid from other manufacturer)." Two biopsy specimens were taken. Obtained histopathology report (17.08.2020) - Colonic mucosa without any significant abnormalities.
