Case description

A female patient presented with an ileus. Patient after hysterectomy and bilateral adnexectomy because of endometrial cancer, with clear resection margins, procedure 2 years ago. She underwent colonoscopy 6 months before this condition with negative result. Now on CT scan obstruction in the level of rectosigmoideum. Surgery performed with extreme dilatation above the obstruction. When laparotomy performed, colon wall tears emerged because of increased endoluminal pressure. Colectomy performed with terminal ileostomy. 

Histological finding was endometrial cancer metastasis in the colonic wall of rectosigmoid, clear resection margins. 

Postoperatively no major adverse events, with protracted nursing due to ileostomy discharge.
