Case description

A 70-year-old patient diagnosed with locally advanced pancreatic head neoplasia involving the duodenum, as observed on a CT scan. The patient presents with abnormal liver function tests and jaundice. An ERCP was performed, including a biopsy of the common bile duct (CBD) and the duodenal infiltration. A 80 mm x 10 mm partially covered self-expanding metal stent (PC SEMS) from (*brand hidden*). Endoscopy was successfully placed, with subsequent drainage of black-colored bile.
