Case description

Patient: Elderly patient
Location: Rectum
Lesion: Large sessile lesion
Optical diagnosis: Adenoma; no features of cancer
Injection: saline with Methylene Blue: 15 ml; Epi: 1:10,000 6 ml
Lift: Good submucosal lift
Snare resection: 20 mm and 10 mm stiff snare
Endocut Q 3-1-4
Hemostasis: Coagulation grasper soft coagulation; 100 W
APC: 0.8 L, 35 W, Forced APC
Clips: 4 Cook Clips
Time: 31 minutes for resection
Pathology: Tubulovillous adenoma with no cancer
Post procedure: Short duration of fever and abdominal pain; CT showed no postpolypectomy syndrome or perforation
