Case description

Large polyps used to be referred to surgery for removal. Now a days, these can be removed with colonoscopy because of advances in techniques. Whenever a large polyp removal is undertaken, one should remove it safely - be prepared to control bleeding or close a perforation if those were to occur; and one should remove it completely so that the polyp does not come back. Here is an example of successful and safe removal of a large polyp.
