Case description

Giant colon polyps bleed a lot during colonoscopy removal. Hence, they are often referred to surgery. Currently, these giant colon polyps can be removed with endoscopy using a combination of tools such as loops and clips to prevent bleeding. This patient was recommended to undergo a major surgery with removal of 3/4 of his colon to take of multiple large polyps in the right and left colon. Surgery was avoided in this patient. However, he required 4 colonoscopies to remove multiple large polyps; each polyp removal required more than an hour.
