The film presents laparoscopic right adrenalectomy performed in a 15-year old girl. Procedure was performed in the Department of Pediatric Surgery in Zabrze, Medical University of Silesia, Poland.
We present a chalenging case of a right adrenal mass, big in size and difficult to manipulate laparoscopicaly, it is also adherent to the liver and kidney, which adds to the chalenge.
This video presents right adrenalectomy in lateral position, transperitoneal approach. The clip is minimally edited, so the details of the dissection are all there.
