Case description

Laparoscopy video case: In this video we present a male 54 y.o. patient with sigmoid cancer. As the tumor has been marked by ink during previous colonoscopy, it is easily visible. We start with splenic flexure mobilisation, then medial to lateral approach with central ligation of inferior mesenteric artery and vein. The colon in transsected below the tumor and then side to end circular anastomosis is performed. The postoperative course was uneventful and the patient discharged on POD 3.
