- Dr. Gustavo Sevá Pereira is a digestive system surgeon specializing in minimally invasive surgery, obesity treatment, and digestive system cancer, particularly colorectal cancer.
He graduated in Medicine in 1994 from PUC Campinas, completed a residency in General Surgery at PUCC, followed by Digestive Surgery and Endoscopy at UNICAMP. He later obtained a Master's degree in Surgery from UNICAMP. Since 1998, he has been actively practicing Bariatric Surgery, Digestive Surgery, Colorectal Surgery, and Endoscopy.
He is a Professor of Surgery at São Leopoldo Mandic Medical School in Campinas and is responsible for the care of colorectal cancer patients in the Coloproctology Group at Mário Gatti Hospital in Campinas. He was a member of the first Brazilian Consensus on Bariatric Surgery. Over the past 30 years, he has attended courses and internships at various hospitals abroad.
