Case description

Middle aged patient with an IC valve polyp came in for endoscopic mucosal resection. The endoscopy report was confusing regarding the extent of the lesion. It is important to provide a detailed report - measure the vertical length from the top end to the bottom end of the polyp, circumferential extent, and extent of involvement of the IC valve and appendix. As you can see in this case, there was complete circumferential involvement of the IC valve and extends over 8 cm in length and 40% of circumference.
