Case description

Middle aged patient was referred for endoscopic resection as an alternative to surgery. In his rectosigmoid colon a polyp with 5-6 cm head and a broad 2-3 cm stalk was found. The lesion was resected with 20 mm stiff snare after an epinephrine injection into the head and stalk
Resection: 20 mm stiff snare
Endocut Q 3-1-5 with a little bit of coagulation was used to prevent recurrence of the lesion and clips to ensure hemostasis. Pathology revealed Tubulovillous adenoma with HGD
