Case description

Patient: Middle aged patient was referred for endoscopic resection as an alternative to surgery. During colonoscopy a large pedunculated polyp in the sigmoid colon was found. Its volume was reduced by epinephrine injections, then it was resected by snare. Coagulation was used to prevent recurrence of the lesion and resection site was clipped to prevent delayed bleeding.

Pathology revealed tubulovillous adenoma with HGD
