Case description

The following video presents a colonoscopy performed in an elderly patient with diarrhea secondary to a large villous adenoma in the rectosigmoid colon. The patient asked for an endoscopic resection in order to avoid surgery.

After the resection the base and edge were treated by APC (argon plasma coagulation) and a clip closure was performed to prevent delayed bleeding and perforation. The pathology revealed villous adenoma with high grade dysplasia.
