Case description

Deeper ear passage in the early stage of acute otitis media with the image of the eardrum is examined endoscopically. Increased vascularity and inflammation beginning at the vascular strip area is shown. Cumulating effusion with a patent eustachian tube is a main reason of air bubbles in the middle ear. Pus is produced at the anterosuperior segment of the middle ear cavity denoted by its yellowish appearance.
