ERCP for Large CBD Stone
Case description
Endoscopic video case: 55 years old man with acute cholangitis.
- under oral anti diabetic medication since 20 years.
- acute cholangtis related to a 14 x 25 mm large CBD stone. Cholecysyctomy done 10 years ago.
Emergency ERCP:
1/ Acess to the CBD in a long scope position patient on the left lateral position (food in the stocmach and duodenim)
2/ Easy acces with a sphincterotome and guide wire.
3/ Fluoroscopy a 14 x 25 mm sice on the longitudinal direction.
4/ Large balloon dilatation a 16 mm
5/ Extraction of the stone with a12 mm balloon.
