Case description

Indication for the procedure: large ascending colon polyp. Elective polypectomy was performed. The polyp was found in the proximal part of ascending colon. Gelospan was injected in the base of the flat polyp with central depression and diameter of approximately 1,5-2 cm. Piecemeal resection was performed. Most of the pieces were collected and referred to histopathological examination. Borders and wound were coagulated with APC.
