Case description

A case of a patient with large sessile lesion in the proximal ascending colon. The lesion had surface pit pattern and vascular pattern which are typical for benign polyps.

The lesion was excised via snare resection. Edges were coagulated via APC to prevent recurrence. Clip closure was introduced to prevent delayed bleeding.

Pathology revealed tubulovillous adenoma; multifocal high grade dysplasia; edge and base clear of adenoma.
