Case description

A colonoscopy performed in elderly overwight woman with a large transverse colon polyp, who was referred for an endoscopic resection, as an attempt to avoid surgery. During the procedure, the patient was under general anesthesia with endotracheal intubation to avoid movements due to respiration. The base and the edges of a lesion were treated with APC (argon plasma coagulation) and the lesion after EMR was closed with clips.
