Case description

A colonoscopy performed in elderly patient with diarrhea secondary to a large villous adenoma in the rectosigmoid colon. He preferred endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) to avoid surgery.

The polyp had no advanced features to suggest malignancy and the pathology revealed villous adenoma with high grade dysplasia.
