Case description

This video shows a pedunculated polyp resection in cecum. A middle aged patient on anticoagulants, who survived two cancers, underwent partial resection of a giant cecal polyp that was complicated by bleeding - required clips. This polyp was at high risk for bleeding - large size, thick stalk, cecal location, patient on anticoagulants. So we decided to use a combination of epinephrine injection followed by loop ligation, resection, followed by another loop ligation to prevent delayed bleeding.
