Case description

This is a case of a large pedunculated polyp with a thick stalk in the sigmoid colon. Epinephrine volume reduction was attempted with modest reduction in size. Snare resection exposed a thick vascular bundle. The defect was closed with clips and a loop was applied for additional security to prevent delayed bleeding. Outcome: No delayed bleeding.
