Case description
The video shows an ideal case for Greenlight HPS (high-performance system) prostatectomy. It is an alternative surgical treatment to TURP (transurethral resection of the prostate). During the procedure, urologist uses a laser to rapidly heat and vaporize the excess prostate tissue, resulting in a larger channel for urine to pass through. Removing the excess tissue rapidly restores natural urine flow in most patients. In this case obstructive prostate was of volume 40 ml. The whole procedure lasted for 35 minutes. The catheter was kept for 18 hours.
