Case description

The internal mammary lymph node (IMLN) is a pathway through which breast lymphatic drainage passes. The internal mammary lymph nodes are situated around the internal mammary artery and veins. It is situated in the parasternal intercostal spaces. Our patient was admitted with isolated right internal mammary artery lymph nodal metastases from breast cancer after 2 year of Mastectomy. The patient had undergone a right radical mastectomy 2 years earlier for breast cancer. She was planned for internal mammary lymph nodes dissection as these were the only site of recurrence.
