Case description

Detailed examination of the cecum is critical as shown in this video. Initially, a lesion was not visible; on repeat examination of the medial wall below the IC valve by using the cap, a polyp hiding behind a fold came into view for couple of seconds as the endoscope slipped back. On reinsertion of the endoscope and checking again, the polyp was found. In colonoscopy screening, the goal is to screen the colon for polyps - taking time and focussing on the colon wall and behind folds is critical to pick up lesions.
