Case description

This video shows follow-up eight months after endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR). A clean scar was noted in the ascending colon. A small area with slightly tubular form crypts were observed. Whether it is residual adenoma or deformity of the crypts secondary to healing. Snare resection was done. The cap fitted colonoscope helps in defining the scar better. Although the linear grooves and round pit pattern indicates no residual adenoma, multiple biopsies are taken to check for microscopic residual adenoma.
