Case description

A case of a middle aged man, who was referred for an EMR (endoscopic mucosal resection). Lesion appeared to harbor cancer, nevertheless, the biopsies came back as adenoma.

As it's clearly visible on the video, this lesion has endoscopic features of cancer, including submucosal invasion as documented by a non-lifting sign. The cancer was confirmed by the biopsies from the central area of lesion.

Tattoo and a clip followed by an abdominal x-ray were done to localize the tumor at surgery.
