Case description

Serrated adenomas are premalignant flat (or sessile) lesions of the colon. Predominantly, they can be found in the ascending colon and caecum, however, they can be also recognised in the other parts of the bowel, such as transverse colon.

Unfortunately serrated lesions are easy to miss during colonoscopy. The following video presents a subtle lesion, recognised by focusing on the wall of the colon.
