Maxillary Molar Obturation Stories Under Magnification

Highly curved maxillary molar root canal treatment could be really challenging. The distance between the detection and the negotiation of the MB2 canal, to the obturation of the curved root canal system with the right technique could be 4 hours long. Sometimes even longer. The cavity access preparation, the shaping protocol, the disinfection protocol and the obturation protocol, they all are chapters of the same unique story. It's the endodontic story of each maxillary molar that needs to be treated. This new video is about the story of the endodontic treatment of a highly curved first maxillary molar diagnosed with symptomatic apical periodontitis. I tried to record the step by step obturation procedure of the highly curved canals under the higher magnification provided by my global G6 microscope( X19.2). The duration of the video is 17min for a procedure that lasted almost 5 hours. So relax and enjoy the ride!
