Case description

Aortic valve replacement via right anterior minithoracotomy. This case involved a 55-year-old male patient with severe aortic stenosis, moderate-to-severe insufficiency, and a bicuspid aortic valve. After decalcification, a 29mm sizer fit easily, and we implanted a 25mm (*brand hidden*) aortic prosthesis. Exposure maneuvers provided excellent visualization of the aortic valve through the RAT approach. The use of a knot pusher further enhanced visualization during suturing. This minimally invasive technique, performed through a small incision, allowed for faster recovery and outstanding patient outcomes.
