Case description

Surgical video case: a 74 y.o. female patient is presented in this short video, where right hemicolectomy was performed due to malignised polyp of the caecum. The video focuses on the technique of the closure of stapler device defect of the ileotransversostomy. After the two layer barbed stitch closure there is also a ICG perfusion test. 

The postoperative course was uneventful and the patient was discharged on POD 3. The histology was adenocarcinoma of the caecum pT2pN2a (4+/31).
