Case description

Siddharth Kamat talking about bony metastasis.

- Bony metastasis is the topic of the presentation.

- Severe back pain with cauda equina syndrome in a patient over 40-60 years old with no history of back pain or radiculopathy may indicate metastatic lesion in the spine.

- Common sites of metastasis in males are the lungs, while in females it's the breast.

- Osteoblastic metastasis is possible with prostate carcinoma and is characterized by a radio-dense region in the bone.

- Imaging tests, such as MRI and CT scans, are essential for diagnosis and detecting extra delta metastases.
