Case description
The film presents a laparoscopic partial left nephrectomy performed in 5-year-old girl with a tumor involving the upper pole of the left kidney. Draws attention to the double kidney vascularization. Intraoperative decision was made to remove the tumor within the limits of normal renal tissue avoiding heminephrectomy. Histopathological examination revealed a rare tumor in children metanephric adenoma removed with a margin of healthy tissue. Procedure was performed in the Department of Pediatric Surgery in Zabrze, Medical University of Silesia, Poland.
