Case description

This is a demonstration of a minimally invasive endscopic cricopharyngeal myotomy Traditionally this procedure requires a neck incision. The endoscopic approach is highly specialized and performed only at a few institutions internationally.It is safer, requires less time under general anesthesia and allows for a faster more comfortable recovery. Demonstration was performed by M.D. Michael Pitman and M.D. Philip Weissbrod.
