Case description
Adenoidectomy is the common procedure recommended in adenoids which results in otitis media secretoria, often upper airways inflammations, snoring and obstructive sleep apnea.
After applying the gag holding the tongue, the proper size of adenotom is chosen. Then, the adenoids is cutted down with the adenotom. The Eustachian tonsils are then gently pushed away from the auditory tube orifice. Nasopharynx is rinsed with the saline solution, and hemostasis is achieved.
