Case description

The most common bone spur in the shoulder is located on the acromion. Bone spurs decrease the space between the ball of the shoulder and the acromion, resulting in impingement. This pressure on the cuff can lead to pain and tearing. Bone spurs can be removed arthroscopically, and this surgical video demonstrates that procedure.
