Case description

 A 26 years old woman with history of two cesarean sections received intrauterine device (IUD) for contraception. She visited for check of IUD string, but it wasn’t observed. Vaginal sonography confirmed lack of IUD in uterine cavity. Pelvic X-ray showed IUD near the right ovary. IUD wasn’t detected in hysteroscopy. In laparoscopy, adhesion of rectum and right ovary was detached, IUD was removed from the site of adhesion of rectum and right ovary, and then rectum was repaired
