Case description

This film shows a robotic abdominoperineal resection with sacrectomy in an obese male patient. The patient's BMI is 37, he has a locally metastatic rectal cancer with invasion of the sacrum at a S4-S5 level. In preoperative screenig also visible a invasion of the left levators. As a result of the chemotherapy by the patient have occured necrosis of the tumor and formation of the solid abscess within the mesorectum.
