Case description

Fundus varices are observed in the maneuver of retroflexion, and the signs of recent bleeding are also observed. Gastric varices usually accompany esophageal varices, although they may occur alone. They are located in the gastric fundus and are best appreciated endoscopically on retroflexed view.
