Case description

A case of an elderly male in his 70s with history of CAD s/p three coronary stents almost 14 months ago on dual antiplatelets who during workup for iron deficiency anemia was found to have a large mid-jejunal laterally spreading tumor. The patient was referred to our center to evaluate and manage the small intestinal lesion. The area was only reachable through push enteroscopy using pediatric colonoscope. The lesion was completely resected using EMR technique. Final pathology came back as tubular adenoma with no HGD or invasive carcinoma. Surveillance endoscopy after 6 months showed no recurrence.
