Case description

When I reviewed the photos of the colonoscopy report, I thought that the polyp was not big and could cut easily. When I did the case, I realized how much was hiding behind the bend. The colon was very floppy and twisted easily which made a lesion that was not dependent become dependent as the procedure went on. Injected 60 ml of saline with Methylene Blue; 6 cc of Epi 1:10,000; after two snare resections to remove the flat component, the large sessile component bled with resection; made it difficult to find the bleeding spot as the colon flipped and making the resected area become dependent and pooling of blood; changed the position of the patient to supine which allowed the identification of the bleeding and hemostasis was achieved with clips.
