The film introduces a case report of 84-year old lady, who was referred to hospital for hysterectomy. I performed microhysteroscopy and protected the patient from large surgery. What is interesting, the patient wasn't aware of having a double uterus until the time of the procedure.Microhysteroscopy is a procedure which allows to diagnose and treat at the same time. Thanks to the small diameter of the optic it may be performed with local anesthesia (hysteroblock) both in ambulatory care or 1-day hospital treatment. The patient is conscious and can watch the procedure on screen. There is very low risk of complications (less than 0,5%).
