Colonoscopy: Transverse Colon Piecemeal EMR
Case description
Location: Transverse colon
Lesion: LST-G
Injection: 10 ml saline with a drop or two of Methylene Blue
Snare: 15 mm snare tried first; the lesion folded and not good to cut. then used 10 mm snare and cut in 3 pieces. Endocut 3-1-3 setting
Hot biopsy avulsion: 1-1-1 Endocut I
APC: 0.8 lts; and 35 W
Clip closure: 7 clips. Longitudinal closure
Patient lives 175 miles from MD Anderson Cancer Center and more than an hour away from nearest hospital; hence closed tight to cut down the risk of delayed complications.
