Case description
Colon perforation is the most feared complication of endoscopy. Hearing about it puts people off from colon cancer screening. A lot has been done in the last decade to manage this problem. Experimental endoscopy helped us understand and develop endoscopic closure techniques to manage perforations and avoid surgery in most cases. Here is a summary of our work in this area.
