Case description

A case of a middle aged patient with a 2 cm flat lesion in the ascending colon who was referred for EMR after an initial unsuccelssful attempt made by referring gastroenterologist.

The patient was put into general anesthesia due to the difficulty in resecting a lesion that is tethered to the wall from prior resections and sleep apnea to keep the operating field stable, without respiratory movements

After the resection, the edge was treated with APC to prevent delayed recurrence of tumor and a clip closure was done to prevent delayed complications.
