Case description

Before Halo radiofrequency (RFA) ablation will be applied for Barrett's treatment, it is obligatory for each lesion (CA in situ also) to be resected using endoscopic technique. This case shows the malignant lesion - taken from nodule-like high grade dysplastic Barrett's epithelial region. It is a technically difficult localization - the edge of the hiatal hernia. After 1:10000 adrenalin solution shot, the fragmentary endoscopic resection was performed. The muscularis mucosa was normal in histopathology examination. One month later the radiofrequency ablation of Barrett's dysplastic region was carried out.
