Case description

Surgical video case: presentation of a 3 in 1 surgical procedure in a 38 y/ old male patient, weight 172 kg, BMI of 56.0. One anastomosis Gastric bypass, Hiatus hernia repair and Cholecystectomy were performed at one stage. Recommendations are for repair of establieshed on pre-operative OGD Hiatus hernia during a Bariatric procedure. Gallstones should be removed before weight loss surgery. However, the gallbladder surgery can be done also in a safe manner during Bariatric surgery, due to preference of the patient. Total length of surgery 125 minutes. Patient has been discharged on postoperative day 2 with no complications.
