Case description

Pancreatic cancer represents ca 3% of malignant tumors. Its prevalence grows with age and is the biggest between 7th and 9th decade of life. The risk factors are e.g. smoking, diabetes, obesity or male sex. Predominantly, tumor is located in the head of the pancreas. The most frequent histological type is lobular adenocarcinoma (90%), cystadenocarcinoma is less frequent.
