Case description

The film presents laparoscopic Heller's cardiomyotomy in a 14-year old boy. During the operation there was iatrogenic perforation of the esophageal mucosa. Perforation was sutured with single absorbable sutures 5-0. To protect the site of mucosal perforation anterior Dor fundoplication was done. Procedure was performed in the Department of Pediatric Surgery in Zabrze, Medical University of Silesia, Poland.
