Case description

A significant nasal septum deviation is presented in this clip. It co-exists with allergy rhinitis. Stenosis of the nasal valve area had been caused by the convex surface to the right. The compensative mechanism allowed to inferior turbinate hypertrophy. The treatment consists of the Cotte's manoeuvre (pulling the skin of the cheek in an upward and outward direction) followed by topical corticosteroid spray actuation. After doing this manouevre, the nasal valve become wider and finally, the optimal delivery of the nasal spray droplets to the inferior turbinate would be provided.
